SIBA
For a property in Portugal the app prepares the boletins de alojamento (accommodation bulletins) of foreign guests from the day's check-ins and delivers them to SIBA, through the web service or with the file to upload to the portal. If a guest leaves early or stays longer, the new exit date is ready to send.

What it does
The day's entries
The SIBA page lists the foreign guests who arrived during the day, with what each one is missing and the date by which to report them. Portuguese guests are only counted, because they are not reported.
Web service or file
With the web service the boletim goes from the app and SIBA confirms delivery to the property's e-mail address. In file mode you download the numbered .DAT file and upload it to the portal.
Exit dates to update
The boletim is sent at check-in with the expected exit date. An early departure or an extension ends up in “Exit dates to update”, whatever the day of arrival.
Data as SIBA wants it
Names in capitals with only the accents allowed, document type and countries with the portal's codes. Errors show on the guest before sending.
Warning at closing
The daily closure flags rooms with a foreign guest not yet reported to SIBA.
How to switch it on
- 1In the Marketplace inside the app open “SIBA” among the property's compliance items: the entry is there for properties whose country is Portugal.
- 2Choose the sending mode decided when registering on the SIBA portal and enter the NIPC, the establishment number and, for the web service, the chave de acesso (access key) from the activation ofício.
- 3Add the contact's name and e-mail and, if you were already sending with another program, the number of the first file.
- 4Check the property's address, postcode in the 0000-000 form and phone number, then from the “SIBA” menu item send the day's entries.
Frequently asked questions
Which guests are reported to SIBA?+
Foreign guests, European Union citizens included. Portuguese citizens are not reported: the page counts them and leaves them out.
Are the boletins sent by themselves?+
No: you send them from the SIBA page with a button. At the daily closure the app warns you if a foreign guest who has arrived has not yet been reported.
Can I reopen a .DAT file already prepared?+
Yes, the last one: its guests go back to be reported and you can send them again.
