Getting started

Ask the hotel for a key
The hotelier creates it in Settings → Marketplace → “Public API and webhooks”, chooses what it may do (read only, reservations, folios…) and hands it to you. A key is valid for one property.

Try the key
Call GET /v1/me: it answers with the property and the permissions of the key. From there, room types, rooms, rates and availability.

Book and listen
Create reservations with your own reference (external_ref), charge the folio, place guests in rooms and follow what happens through the event log.

Availability and prices

Free rooms by type and night, rate plans and quotes computed by the rate engine of the PMS.

Reservations

Create, change, confirm, cancel; assign rooms; check-in and check-out; guests in rooms with the data the authorities ask for.

Folios

Read the folios of a reservation and charge items: what a POS does when a guest signs the bill to the room.

Events and webhooks

Reservations created, check-ins, check-outs and cancellations in order, read with a cursor or pushed to your address by signed webhooks.

The rules in short

Key in the Authorization: Bearer header; one key per property, with the permissions (scopes) chosen by the hotel.
JSON, dates YYYY-MM-DD with the departure excluded, decimal amounts in euro, errors with a stable code and a readable message.
600 calls a minute per key. Idempotency-Key on writes to repeat a call without double effects; external_ref unique per property on reservations.
The version is in the path (/v1): fields are added, never removed or renamed.

Test environment

A shared environment with sample data, reset every night at 04:00 (Italian time): use this key to try the calls without signing up.

· The key has every permission and is the same for everyone: what you write is seen by others and disappears at the reset.
· No login to the app and no e-mail leaves the sandbox; the webhooks subscribed are removed every night.
· For an environment of your own there is the 30-day free trial: sign up, switch the API on from the Marketplace and create a key.
