French compliance, item by item

It is not a separate module: it comes out of the data you enter at check-in. The country of the property decides which duties apply.

Fiche de police

Fiche individuelle de police for foreign guests: pre-filled from the guest card, signed by the guest on the tablet or on paper on arrival, with the register of the last six months for police and gendarmerie.

Taxe de séjour

Charged automatically per person and per night: municipal tariff or percentage of the price, additional taxes, minors and exempt guests, with the «registre du logeur» for the return.

Facture électronique

Invoices in the format of the French reform (CII, EN 16931 standard) with SIREN, electronic address and legal notes, deposited on the hotel's plateforme agréée through the standard AFNOR API; outcome and life cycle come back into the program.

E-reporting

Sales to private customers, added up by day and VAT rate, and the payments collected for services: the periodic reports for the tax administration, prepared from the documents issued and deposited on the plateforme agréée.

Factur-X

The invoice PDF carries the electronic invoice data inside: the customer reads it like any PDF and their accounting software imports it automatically. One file, also valid for the deposit on the plateforme agréée.

Supplier invoices

Electronic invoices from suppliers arrive from the plateforme agréée already read (CII, UBL, Factur-X): they are linked to the supplier and become a stock receipt without retyping.

INSEE survey

The monthly INSEE occupancy questionnaire already filled in from the stays: rooms occupied each night, arrivals and nights by country of residence, business share and accommodation revenue.

From check-in to compliance

  1. 1

Choose the country of the property

You state it when you sign up: from there the program knows which duties apply and sets up the guest form, the document types and the tables of that country.

  2. 2

    Work as you always do

Reservation, check-in, bill, document: the data compliance needs is the data you enter anyway, once.

  3. 3

    Send from the program

Notices, statistics, taxes and invoices come out ready: they leave from the program where a connection exists, otherwise you download the file or the summary.

What's new

The latest releases

Police form signed on the tablet

The foreign guest reads the fiche de police on the screen and signs it with a finger: no paper to print and file. The signed form stays in the program for six months, is reprinted with the signature if the police ask for it, then the signature is deleted automatically.

INSEE survey

For French properties the monthly INSEE occupancy questionnaire comes out already filled in from the stays, as PDF and CSV: rooms occupied night by night, arrivals and nights by country of residence, share of business guests and accommodation revenue.

Supplier invoices

For French properties the electronic invoices from suppliers arrive automatically from the plateforme agréée: supplier, lines, VAT and due date already filled in, and one click creates the stock receipt. Receiving them becomes mandatory for every business on 1 September 2026.

Invoices as Factur-X PDF

For French properties the PDF of invoices and credit notes is a Factur-X (PDF/A-3 with the EN 16931 data inside): the same file sent to the customer is the electronic invoice, and it can be deposited on the plateforme agréée instead of the XML.

E-reporting

For French properties the reports of sales to private customers and of payments are prepared automatically from the documents issued, period by period according to the VAT regime, and go to the plateforme agréée; a report already sent is corrected with a corrective transmission.

E-invoicing

For French properties the invoice is generated from the bill in the format of the reform (CII, EN 16931) and goes to the hotel's plateforme agréée through the standard AFNOR XP Z12-013 API: checks, delivery, refusal and payment are read in the document register.

Fiche de police and taxe de séjour

For French properties: the fiches de police of foreign guests ready to sign on arrival, with the register of the last six months, and the taxe de séjour charged automatically with additional taxes, exemptions and registre du logeur.

And the rest of the PMS

Compliance is only one part: around it is the complete PMS, one program from the front desk to the back office.

Working in another country?

In other countries Galaxy Hotel Cloud works as a complete PMS: local compliance is added from the Marketplace as it arrives.

Frequently asked questions

Which plateforme agréée does it work with?+

The one the hotel has chosen, as long as it offers the standard AFNOR XP Z12-013 API: the program deposits invoices and e-reporting transmissions there and receives the supplier invoices from it, and the outcome comes back into the document register.

Does the fiche de police still have to be printed?+

Not necessarily. The foreign guest reads it on the tablet and signs with a finger, or signs on paper. The signed form stays in the program for six months, can be reprinted with the signature if the police ask for it, then the signature is deleted automatically.

Does the taxe de séjour follow my municipality's tariff?+

Yes: municipal tariff or percentage of the price, with the additional taxes, minors and exempt guests. It goes on the bill automatically per person and per night, and the «registre du logeur» is ready for the return.
