ROSS 1000 / Turismo5

The ISTAT movement (the Italian tourism statistics) comes out of the check-in data and is sent to your region's ROSS 1000 portal through the web service, with nothing to copy again. You transmit every evening or once a month, or you generate the file to upload by hand.

What it does

Thirteen regional portals

Piedmont, Lombardy, Veneto, Liguria, Emilia-Romagna, Tuscany (Florence, Pistoia, Prato), Marche, Lazio, Abruzzo, Molise, Basilicata, Calabria and Sardinia. The right portal is proposed from the province of the property.

The complete movement

For every day it sends rooms occupied and available, beds, arrivals with the codes of nationality, birth and residence, departures and reservations received.

Daily or monthly

You choose how to send. With monthly sending the “End of day” page proposes it on the last day of the month, and a past month can be recovered from “Alloggiati and ISTAT”.

Default values

Type of tourism, means of transport and booking channel are sent with the values you choose once in the Marketplace.

Incomplete guests flagged

A guest without sex, date of birth or codes is left out and flagged, without blocking the rest of the day.

How to switch it on

  1. 1In the Marketplace inside the app open “ISTAT statistics”: from the province of the property, ROSS 1000 and your region's portal are already proposed.
  2. 2Enter the portal's transmission user name and password and the property code given by the authority, then choose the default values and daily or monthly sending.
  3. 3From “End of day” press “Transmit to ROSS 1000”: the movement is sent, and a day already transmitted is replaced.

Frequently asked questions

Are ROSS 1000 and Turismo5 the same system?+

Yes: it is GIES's system, which the regions use under different names (ISTRICE in Marche, SITRA in Abruzzo, SIRED in Sardinia…). The sending is the same; the address and credentials change.

My region's portal uses SPID or CIE: what do I enter?+

For transmission from the PMS the Tourism Office issues dedicated credentials: those are the ones to enter in the Marketplace.

Can I send a forgotten month?+

Yes. From “Alloggiati and ISTAT” choose the month and press “Transmit the month to ROSS 1000”: every day is sent, including those without movement, and the days already on the portal are replaced.
