Turist@t
For properties in Sicily the ISTAT movement goes to Turist@t, the tourism observatory of the Regione Siciliana, straight from the app. The day's arrivals come out of the check-in data and the day is closed in the same submission.

What it does
Arrivals from check-in
For each reservation the guests are sent with age, sex, guest type, nationality, birth, residence, dates and room. You copy nothing onto the portal.
Closing of the day
After the arrivals the app tells the observatory that the day is closed, then logs out.
Proposed in Sicily
For a Sicilian property Turist@t is the system already proposed in the Marketplace, chosen from the province.
Incomplete guests flagged
A guest without sex, date of birth or codes is left out and flagged, and the others are sent.
How to switch it on
- 1In the Marketplace inside the app open “ISTAT statistics”: for a property in Sicily Turist@t is already proposed.
- 2Enter the observatory's hotel code and password and the API address given to you by the Region.
- 3From “End of day” press “Transmit to Turist@t”: the day's arrivals and the closing of the day are sent.
Frequently asked questions
Where do I find the API address?+
The Regione Siciliana gives it to you together with the credentials. It is not public, which is why you write it in the Marketplace yourself.
Is it sent by itself?+
No, you do it with one click: from “End of day” or, for another day, from the “Alloggiati and ISTAT” page.
