The commercial document is issued from the folio and printed by the fiscal printer (registratore telematico) connected to the hotel's cashier. From the “RT / receipts” page you make voids, X readings and Z closures, and compare the day's takings with the closure total.

What it does
The receipt from the folio
“Issue document → Commercial document” sends the printer lines, VAT departments, discounts and payments by type, with the uncollected amount for the open balance and the lottery code. Before printing you see the preview.
Voids without writing numbers
The void takes the closure number, number, date and serial number from the printer, then the folio reopens. Only with the exchange file do you write the reset number by hand, as in Galaxy Windows.
Closure and daily takings
X reading and Z closure start from the “RT / receipts” page. Daily takings are read by day, printer and closure, with cash, electronic and uncollected to compare with the Z.
Connected from the workstation
The command starts from the workstation's browser, for printers with a web interface, or from galaxy-agent, a Windows service on the cashier PC. The agent also uses Galaxy Windows' exchange-file driver.
If printing fails
A receipt that did not come out stays in error: you retry it or give it up, and the folio reopens. If retrying might print twice, the app warns you first.
How to switch it on
- 1In the Marketplace inside the app switch on “Fiscal printers (RT)” for the property: the “RT / receipts” page appears in the menu.
- 2There add the printer with driver, serial number and address on the local network; if the agent is needed, the page prepares the PowerShell line that installs it on the PC.
- 3In Settings → Price list → VAT rates assign each rate its printer department.
- 4From then on the receipt is issued from the folio; to try without hardware you can add the simulator.
Frequently asked questions
Which printers can be connected?+
Those with an exchange-file driver, the same SCONTRINO.INP as Galaxy Windows, through the agent, and those with an XML web interface, from the browser or from the agent. Before starting, write to us with the model you have: we tell you whether it has already been tested.
Do I have to install anything on the PC?+
Only if the browser cannot reach the printer: for example with a printer on http, which an https page cannot call, or with the exchange file. In that case you install galaxy-agent with a line of PowerShell.
Can I have several printers in the same property?+
Yes: each printer has its own record, and each workstation remembers in the browser the one it uses.
