Madeep
Madeep is the booking engine and channel manager that was connected to Galaxy for Windows. The app sends it free rooms, rates, stop sales and restrictions, and downloads the reservations of your website and of the portals with their code. Cancellations and changes arrive on the same reservation.

What it does
Availability always in line
The app counts the sellable rooms of each room type for the next 365 days and sends Madeep only the figures that have changed, within a minute of every reservation. Out-of-order rooms, contract allotments and closure periods are already taken off.
Prices from your rate plan
The nightly price for 1, 2… guests starts from the rate plans matched to the Madeep rates, with the plan's weekends and discounts. It is sent every six hours, or straight away with “Send prices now”.
Stop sales and restrictions
Stop sales, minimum stay, closed to arrival and closed to departure are set by room type and day in Settings → Price list and rates → Restrictions. Every save sends them to Madeep straight away.
Reservations on the planning
Every five minutes the app downloads new, changed and cancelled reservations: a change updates the same reservation, with its folio and its deposits. Of the guarantee card only the network, holder, expiry date and last four digits are kept.
Warnings on the dashboard
A reservation that cannot come in by itself, for example one cancelled with the guest already in house, goes to the top of the dashboard with the reason. The front desk sorts it out and marks it “Handled”.
How to switch it on
- 1In the Marketplace inside the app open “Channel manager and booking engine”, choose Madeep and enter the user name and password of the interface, not those of the extranet: “Test connection” checks that Madeep accepts them.
- 2On the same page match each room type to a Madeep room and each rate plan to one of its rates, with the code already proposed, the same as the short code.
- 3Before sending stop sales and restrictions press “Import from Madeep”: the rules you already have there come into the app, so switching the sending on changes nothing on the portals.
- 4Tick what you need (availability, prices, stop sales and restrictions, reservations to download) and from then on the app works by itself.
Frequently asked questions
Does it suit a hostel with dorms sold by the bed?+
In part. Madeep receives the free beds of each dorm and a reservation for three people comes in as three beds, but the bed price does not start from the app: you keep it on Madeep. With Channex that goes out too.
Do reservations made at the desk respect the restrictions?+
No. Stop sales and restrictions apply to Madeep and the portals: the front desk can book anyway.
Is the fee per property?+
Yes: every property that switches Madeep on pays it. In a group, the properties that do not use it do not pay it.
